Two other children in a third vehicle, a 4-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, suffered major injuries as a result. They were both taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Nungaray was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bail.

She was charged with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. The Porterville DUI crash is still being investigated.
