Woman Killed in Highway 49 Traffic Accident
Investigators are working to determine the cause of a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred in El Dorado Wednesday evening.
Per CHP, the crash took place around 4 p.m. on Highway 49 on July 13th.
Shelli Ross, 53, of Placerville, was driving a Ford Explorer when she collided with a Volkswagon Jetta.
It is unclear at this time what led up to the crash.
Upon impact, Ross’s vehicle overturned and she was ejected.
Sadly, she died at the scene.
No details were provided about the other driver.
