Man Accused Of Manslaughter

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 25-year-old Brentwood man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and felony driving under the influence.

This was after his car crashed on Byron Highway and killed his passenger. The damage from the crash split the car in half and a passenger was ejected from the car and died at the scene.

The suspect was driving his Dodge Magnum at high speed and veered off the roadway and into a traffic signal pole at 2:17 a.m. The suspect was booked into the Martinez Jail.
