Motorcycle Rider Was Killed in DUI Collision September 20th
The deadly crash took place in Orange around 5:27 p.m. at the intersection of Orange Olive Road and Meats Avenue.
According to reports, a southbound Nissan was turning left onto eastbound Meats Avenue when it collided with a motorcyclist.
Unfortunately, the unidentified rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan was believed to be under the influence of marijuana at the time of the crash. In addition, they were arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
As a result of the crash, North Orange Olive Road was also shut down for a few hours.
Authorities are actively investigating the accident.
