Man ID’d in Fatal Oxnard Hit-and-Run Crash 

A drunk driver hit and killed 58-year-old John Winter, of Santa Barbara, Sunday morning in Oxnard. 

The fatal accident took place around 3:30 a.m. on Rose Avenue and Tiesa Lane. 

Winter suffered major injuries and sadly died at the scene. 

The involved driver fled the scene and did not render aid. 

He was later located and arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and hit-and-run.
