Female Passenger Killed in Rialto Crash 

Two vehicles collided as the result of a suspected DUI driver in Rialto on Wednesday night. 

One person was killed, and two others injured due to the impact. 

The collision took place on June 8th around 9:15 p.m. on North Riverside Avenue. 

Per reports, Richard Madrid, 38, was speeding north in a Mercedes C63 before colliding with an eastbound Chevrolet HHR.

Priscilla Hernandez, 40, of Colton, was a passenger in the Chevrolet. She sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital where she sadly died.

Additionally, her husband, the driver, suffered major injuries but is expected to be OK. He was also hospitalized in stable condition. 

Madrid received treatment for minor injuries and was later arrested on suspicion of murder and booked on a $2.5 million bail.

Rialto Police are actively investigating the accident.
