Temecula Collision Results in Injuries on I-15
A CBP agent was hit by a drunk driver in the early hours on Monday, December 13th.
The accident occurred at 2:30 a.m. on the Interstate 15 Freeway in Temecula.
Per reports, the agent was on a routine checkpoint when a driver in a Mini Cooper sped through the checkpoint and hit them.
Emergency personnel rushed the agent to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities arrested the drunk driver a mile from the scene on suspicion of drunk driving.
