One Killed in T-Bone Collision on Backus Rd

Two vehicles collided in Rosamond on Sunday evening, resulting in the death of one unidentified person.

The accident occurred on May 8th at 6:13 p.m. on Backus Road.

Per CHP, one of the involved vehicles was t-boned by the other for unknown reasons. 

As a result, one vehicle sustained major damage. 

Sadly, one person died due to the impact. Their identity is being withheld pending notification of kin. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
