Two Motorcyclists and a Pedestrian

An early Wednesday morning pedestrian accident claimed the life of one unidentified man in La Mirada. 

The incident took place just after 5 a.m.

One of the motorists struck the pedestrian on the northbound 5 Freeway in the No. 4 lane, however no further details have been provided. 

Unfortunately, the pedestrian died at the scene. 

The identity of the deceased will be made public once notification of kin. 

Both the LA County Fire Department and LA Sheriff Coroner responded at the scene. 

In addition, two northbound lanes were blocked off pending cleanup and investigation. 

Investigators are working to determine liability.
