Pick-Up Truck Hits & Kills Pedestrian 

A man in his 30s was hit and killed by a pick-up truck in Las Vegas on Friday night. 

The incident took place on January 28th at 8:38 p.m. in the area of Cheyenne and Civic Center. 

Per police, the man was jaywalking prior to getting hit and sadly died at the scene. 

The pedestrian is considered to be at fault during this time. 

In addition, the involved driver stopped at the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities. 

Authorities also shut down the aera for several hours for investigation purposes. 

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of kin. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
