Fresno Crash Kills 30-year-old

The fatality occurred at the intersection of Shaw Avenue and Cedar avenue around 5:30 a.m. 

According to reports, Demonte was speeding as he traveled westbound on Shaw Avenue. 

As he was approaching the intersection, he crashed into the back of a trailer which was pulled by a van. 

Due to the impact, the rider was ejected from his bike and sustained life-threatening injuries causing him to die at the scene. 

The driver of the van stopped and was fully cooperative with authorities following the collision. In addition, no other injuries were reported. 

It is unknown whether or not alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
