One Person Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Old River Road
Two vehicles collided on Tuesday evening in Buttonwillow, leaving one person dead.
The fatal accident occurred on November 9th around 6:10 p.m. on Old River Road.
CHP is actively investigating what the cause of the collision was.
As a result of the collision one person died at the scene and another was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
Neither drugs or alcohol are suspected to play a factor in the crash.
In 2020, studies showed that the state of California reported 3,723 motor-vehicle deaths which was an increase from 2019.
