Fiery Collision Results in Death on Highway 183

CHP reported a fatal accident involving a Mustang and semi-truck in Monterey on Wednesday morning.

It was around 1 a.m. when the driver of a Ford Mustang slammed into the back of a semi on Highway 183.

As a result, the vehicle became lodged beneath the truck and burst into flames on June 1st.

One person sadly died. Their identity is being withheld pending notification of kin. 

The crash remains under investigation.
