Deadly Two-Vehicle Accident on Rosedale Highway 

A fiery car accident resulted in the death of 43-year-old David McGowan on Monday evening in Bakersfield. 

According to reports, the incident occurred on March 29th at 6:42 p.m. 

McGowan was in a BMW at the intersection of Rosedale Highway and Renfro Road before he lost control of his vehicle.

He then collided with an eastbound Ford, sadly killing him instantly. 

The driver of the Ford was taken to Kern Medical for treatment of moderate injuries. 

Neither drugs or alcohol were considered to have played a factor in the crash.

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
