David Cisneros Killed in Horrible Crash
72-year-old David Cisneros was struck by a vehicle on Saturday evening, October 9th in Escondido.
The deadly collision happened at about 9:30 p.m. on East Valley Parkway.
According to reports, Cisneros was riding his mobility scooter eastbound when a vehicle struck him. The driver fled the scene, however an officer patrolling the area witnessed the incident and called for emergency personnel.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported Cisneros to Palomar Medical Center Emergency Department.
Unfortunately, Cisneros died on October 10th around 12:18 a.m. despite life-saving efforts.
Investigators are still in search of the fleeing suspect and anybody with useful information is advised to contact authorities.
