Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Involving Pickup Truck
Daniel Cantor Gonzalez, 30, of Menifee, died Thursday night in a motorcycle accident when a truck driver turned into his path on Murrieta Road in Menifee.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 6:50 p.m. on August 29th, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.
Daniel Cantor Gonzalez was traveling northbound on Murrieta Road approaching the intersection with Farmington Road.
Meanwhile, a driver in a Dodge Ram was southbound and tried to turn left onto Farmington Road. The pickup truck turned in front of the motorcyclist and the two vehicles collided.
The Menifee Police Department sent police officers to the scene where they located the victim on the shoulder of the roadway with severe injuries.
Cal Fire Riverside took over performed life-saving measures began by witnesses, but the young man died at the scene.
Authorities closed down Murrieta Road for several hours to conduct an investigation.
