Rancho Cucamonga Accident on Interstate 210 near Interstate 15

One person was severely injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened early Thursday morning in Rancho Cucamonga, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP officers received reports of the accident at around 3:41 a.m. on westbound Interstate 210 between Interstate 15 and Day Creek Boulevard.

The accident involved two vehicles. One of the cars had its airbags deployed, and an occupant was not moving.

Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center with severe injuries.

Several traffic lanes remained closed as authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
