Michael Gonzales and Samantha Guerrero Killed in Baldwin Park Accident

Two people were killed and two others injured in a fatal collision Tuesday night, August 10th. 

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, two vehicles collided due to unknown reasons at about 7:05 p.m. The crash occurred in Baldwin Park, CA on South La Brea Avenue. 

As a result of the crash, two people were killed and two others were left hospitalized. 

Michael Gonzales, 22 of Los Angeles, and Samantha Guerrero, 21 of Long Beach, were pronounced dead at the scene. 

Paramedics responded to the crash and transported two other women involved to the hospital. They are in fair condition and their identities have yet to be disclosed. 

In 2020, studies showed that the state of California reported 3,723 motor-vehicle deaths which was an increase from 2019.
