Man Killed in South Gate Construction Accident 

34-year-old Douglas Castillo has been ID’d as the construction worker that was killed in an accident on September 14th. 

The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that the incident occurred around 11:20 a.m. in the 10000 block of West Frontage Road. 

Castillo was reportedly inside of a ditch when a severed water line flooded the trench. 

As a result, the man sadly died at the scene. 

Authorities are actively investigating all of the details of the accident.
