San Francisco Collision Results in Death of Rider
One person died due to a motorcycle accident in San Francisco Tuesday morning, June 7th.
The crash took place at about 3:30 a.m. within the southbound lanes of Highway 101.
Colin Rumbold, 34, was riding his motorcycle when he crashed and was ejected onto the I-80 ramp.
The man fell onto a moving vehicle, and was then hit by another car in the process.
Unfortunately, Rumbold was declared dead at the scene.
It is unclear if any of the other involved parties were injured.
Authorities shut down the connector to the I-80 following the wreck.
The crash remains under investigation.
