Man Hit & Killed on 405 Freeway 

CHP reported a fatal pedestrian accident in Van Nuys on Friday morning, July 1st. 

39-year-old Christopher Berry was struck by a car at 1:46 a.m. on the 405 Freeway. 

Berry sustained serious injuries and sadly died at the scene. 

The involved driver stopped and stayed at the scene to cooperate with authorities. 

Authorities also shut down several lanes of the freeway for many hours due to investigation purposes.
