Christine Smith Injured in Twain Harte Crash

Woman Hospitalized Following Crash on Highway 108

A pickup truck and fire engine collided in Twain Harte, CA on February 25th, resulting in injuries.

The accident took place on Friday and left the passenger in the pickup, Christine Smith, injured.

According to a news source, 53-year-old Calin Smith was driving the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was towing a flatbed trailer carrying another vehicle. 

The pickup was unable to yield and collided with a fire engine that was blocking the roadway. 

Christine Smith suffered minor injuries and was transported via ambulance to Adventist Health for treatment. 

The crash remains under investigation.

  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything
