Hit & Run Crash Killed Christine Reed

The accident happened near 16th and Folsom streets in San Francisco.

Police identified the 72-year-old San Francisco woman as the victim of the fatal collision which occurred last month on May 28.

The incident happened when a vehicle struck Christine Reed for an unknown reason in San Francisco. The driver hit her near the intersection of 16th and Folsom streets.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the elderly pedestrian left lying on the ground. She sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel soon rushed her to a hospital, where she died on June 25. According to reports, the accident took place at around 9:22 p.m.

Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the victim and then fled the area. Investigators are still searching for the hit-and-run driver that fatally injured Christine Reed.
