CHP Officer Injured in East LA DUI Accident

Investigators are currently uncovering the truth behind an East LA DUI accident that left a CHP officer injured. The accident took place on Thursday, March 9 around 12 AM.

Details Leading Up to the East LA DUI Accident

According to an On Scene TV report, a civilian was driving recklessly before crashing into a CHP officer on the intersection of 1st Street and Eastern Avenue. When firefighters arrived, they found the CHP officer trapped within the unit. The civilian who crashed into the officer was found with several cans of alcoholic beverage in the vehicle. One individual was injured and transported to the hospital for treatment. An investigation is currently underway.
