Minor Injuries Sustained in 110 Freeway In South Los Angeles

Minor injuries were sustained in a DUI collision that took place Monday night in South Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident occurred at about 11:40 p.m. on the southbound 110 Freeway at W Florence Avenue.

Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. At least one of them was left facing sideways in traffic lanes. Both drivers were able to get out of their vehicles after the collision.

CHP said the crash resulted in minor injuries.

CHP also said intoxication was a contributing factor but did not give more details.

An investigation is ongoing.
