DUI Crash Leaves 1 Person Injured in Napa 

Cesar Gonzalez, 39, was arrested on suspicion of DUI after crashing into a parked vehicle on November 1st. 

The crash occurred on Monday morning around 2:33 a.m. on Terrace Drive. 

According to authorities, Gonzalez was driving southbound in his Buick when he crashed into a parked Toyota Prius. 

Due to the impact, the driver of the Prius sustained minor injuries. 

Gonzalez was booked into the Napa County Jail and arrested on suspicion of felony DUI causing injury, as well as driving without a license. 

According to NHTSA, more than a quarter (25%) of accident-related deaths are linked to the use of alcohol. With that being said, according to the CDC, there are 30 people that are killed everyday in a car accident as a result of an alcohol-impaired driver. That is equivalent to one death every 50 minutes.
