68-Year-Old Woman Falls Victim to Hit-and-Run Accident
Cecilia Shu, a 68-year-old Oceanside resident, fell victim to a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Sunday morning.
The incident occurred in Oceanside on June 5th at 8:19 a.m. on Benet Road.
Shu was walking on the sidewalk before being struck by a Honda SUV that was traveling east.
The involved driver made a U-turn after impact and fled in a westbound direction.
Shu was unresponsive when authorities arrived and sadly died at the scene.
