$250,000 From A Rear-End Accident

November 2022: Cathedral, CA. JT Legal Group, a personal injury law firm has successfully secured $250,000 from a rear-end collision.

This litigation arose out of a collision involving a truck and a motorcyclist in Cathedral, CA. on June 12, 2019. The client and along with his passenger were exiting out of a  parking lot of a gas station on their motorcycle. The defendant was in the truck in front of our client attempting to make a left turn until he realized he couldn’t due to the center divider. The defendant proceeded to reverse his truck and eventually backed into the client causing him and his passenger to fall off the motorcycle. 

Due to the impact of the collision, both the  client and his passenger suffered significant injuries in their spine, which ultimately led to him requiring a lumbar spine surgery and the passenger needing a spinal cord stimulator; which is a procedure that sends low levels of electricity directly into the spinal cord to relieve pain. 

Minor injuries from motorcycle accidents are not always common. Typically since a helmet is the only protection you have from the crash, injuries tend to be worse. There are roughly 89,000 crashes reported annually and from that number approximately 5,458 fatalities were reported.
