Elderly Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway
81-year-old Leonard Rarick, of San Diego, fell victim to a multi-vehicle crash in Castaic Saturday, June 25th.
The wreck occurred around 9:30 a.m. within the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway.
According to reports, a Ford-350 was traveling southbound, pulling a trailer before it collided with an object in the road.
As a result, a wheel came off and rolled into another lane causing a Ford Escape to collide with it.

This caused the Toyota to crash with a Honda accord, sadly resulting in the death of the Toyota driver, Leonard Rarick.
