Two Men ID’d in Merced County Collision

Two people died in a Merced County crash on Wednesday afternoon, March 2nd.

They have been identified as Carlos Galindo and Elias Flores.

Per reports, the accident occurred on Fahey Road and Cherokee Road.

It is unclear at this time what caused the eastbound Nissan to drift into the westbound lane and collide with a Honda.

Upon impact, the Nissan crashed into a telephone pole and ended up on the shoulder.

Sadly, both Galindo and Flores died at the scene despite life-saving efforts.

The Honda driver also suffered minor injuries after crashing into the guardrail and overturning into a canal.

An active investigation is underway.

JT Legal Group sends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Carlos Galindo and Elias Flores.
