Vallejo Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Highway 29

One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident on Saturday evening in Vallejo, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The collision happened at around 6:42 p.m. on December 3, on the eastbound 80 Freeway and Highway 29 connector.

Per the dispatch, three vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.

Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to aid one individual injured in the accident. The patient’s name and current condition were not immediately released.

The vehicles were blocking lanes 1 and 2 following the crash. Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the accident scene.

The roadway was cleared at 6:42 p.m.
