Minor Injuries in Woodland Crash on 5 Freeway and 505 Freeway

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that injured one person on Sunday night in Woodland.

According to the CHP officials, the collision occurred at around 11:06 p.m. on November 27, on northbound 5 Freeway at 505 Freeway.

Police confirmed at least three vehicles collided for reasons yet to be determined. One of the cars hit the guardrail, while another went off the roadway after the accident.

Firefighters and medical personnel aided at least one person hurt in the crash. The total number of patients and their current condition were not immediately released.

The vehicles were blocking the slow lane following the accident.

The cars were removed from the crash site by tow trucks.

An investigation is underway.
