Hit-and-Run Crash Injures Motorcyclist in San Diego 

Breogan Cristobal, 25, was hurt in a hit-and-run crash while riding his motorcycle in San Diego on Tuesday. 

The incident took place around 6 in the morning on September 13th. 

Cristobal was traveling west on Mira Mesa Boulevard when a Toyota 4Runner skipped traffic lanes and entered his. 

The two vehicles collided, causing the rider to be ejected into the rear windshield of the Toyota helmet first. 

The female driver of the Toyota fled the scene after checking the damage to her vehicle. 

Cristobal was left with a concussion, road rash, and bruises. He was able to survive due to his helmet protecting him. 

Police are actively in search of the suspect. She has been described as a woman in her 20s-30s and was driving a gray Toyota 4Runner. Those with information are urged to contact SDPD at 858-495-7800. 

Hit-and-run collisions account for almost 6 deaths per day and there is at least one per minute in the U.S.
