Serious Injuries Following Accident on Kumeyaay Highway 

A motorcycle along with another vehicle collided in Boulevard, California on Thursday afternoon.

CHP reported that the crash resulted in serious injuries on March 3rd.

The incident took place at 1:07 p.m. within the eastbound lanes of Kumeyaay Highway near Manzanita Road. 

At this time it is unclear what led to the collision. 

The rider was found on the ground when paramedics arrived and was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Investigators are actively working to determine liability. 

According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death.
