Rancho Cucamonga Car Accident on 15 Freeway Injures 1

One person was hospitalized after a big rig collision that happened Thursday night in Rancho Cucamonga.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place at about 8:04 p.m. on 15 Freeway, just south of Foothill Boulevard.

The crash involved a big rig and a black SUV.

Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

A dog involved in the accident was taken to an animal shelter, but it was not clear if it was injured.

CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
