Big Rig Carrying Tons Of Concrete Sand Overturns On I-680

The California Highway Patrol has remarked that a big rig carrying 27 tons of concrete sand overturned on southbound lanes of I-680 near Bernal Avenue in Pleasanton.

A newer white Honda Civic sideswiped the big rig before 5 a.m. that caused the driver to swerve and hit a black Accord. The big rig driver then went on to hit a guardrail, overturned, and later spilled the vehicle’s load across several southbound lanes. The driver of the Accord has been hospitalized.
