Fatal Covina Crash Involving Bicyclist and Motorcycle
An Azusa police officer was traveling on a motorcycle before colliding with a bicyclist Monday night, resulting in death.
The incident occurred in Covina on January 31st around 9:10 p.m.
Investigators are actively working to determine the cause of the crash that took place at Cienega and Sunflower Avenues.
Both the officer and cyclist sustained injuries upon impact and were rushed to a local hospital.
Sadly, the unidentified bicyclist died due to their injuries at the hospital.
Per CHP, the officer remains in stable condition.
