Bicyclist ID’d in Deadly Wasco Traffic Accident 

67-year-old Salvador Covarrubias was killed in a collision involving a truck on Sunday, August 28th. 

It was just before 8:19 p.m. when Covarrubias was riding a bike on Poplar Avenue at Filburn Avenue. 

A truck reportedly struck him, sadly resulting in his death. 

Details leading up to the accident remain under investigation at this time.
