Man Dies in Crash on La Cadena Drive and De Berry Street

Two vehicles collided on May 6th in Colton, leaving 58-year-old Bert Rodriguez dead.

It was reported that the wreck took place at 4:25 p.m. on La Cadena Drive and De Berry Street. 

Unfortunately, Rodriguez died at the scene. 

It is unclear what caused the accident or what vehicles were involved. 

An active investigation is underway.

In 2020, studies showed that the state of California reported 3,723 motor-vehicle deaths which was an increase from 2019. 

In the U.S. one’s odds of dying in a car accident is around 1 in 107.
