Man Killed in Barstow Pedestrian Crash

58-year-old Bedford Moering was fatally struck by Honda on Saturday morning in Barstow.

The crash was the result of a street race involving a Dodge Challenger and Honda Accord on August 6th.

It was just minutes after 10 a.m. when the Honda struck Moering on West Main Street as he was crossing the roadway.

Following the pedestrian crash, the Honda then rear-ended a Ford Escape, causing injuries to the driver, Dean Laney, 24.
