Fatal Traffic Collision at Grand Avenue and Toni Drive

Arcely Echeverria, a 24-year-old woman, died following a car accident that occurred in the area of North Grand Avenue and East Toni Drive.

According to My News LA, a multi-vehicle accident happened Saturday at the intersection in Covina. The exact number of cars involved in the wreck, and their description remained undisclosed.

Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 7:30 a.m. Medical personnel mentioned they found at the scene one unresponsive female. Despite life-saving attempts performed by paramedics, the woman sadly succumbed to her injuries and passed away. The coroner’s office later identified the deceased as Arcely Echeverria, of La Puente.

Authorities added they transported two other victims to a hospital for further treatment and evaluation.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department is the agency handling the investigation. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the fatal collision that happened at North Grand Avenue and East Toni Drive in Covina.
