17-Year-Olds Killed in Fatal Accident on I-15 Freeway 

A tragic accident claimed the life of two 17-year-old boys in Apple Valley on Friday evening. 

CHP reported the crash at about 8:25 p.m. on January 21st within the northbound lanes of the I-15 Freeway. 

The two were in a BMW 3 series sedan when a tire reportedly flew off, causing the driver to lose control. As a result, the BMW veered across all traffic lanes, rolled over and landed in a nearby desert. 

One of the boys was ejected as a result and sadly died 30 minutes later.

The other boy died about 10 minutes after the first at Victor Valley Global Medical Center’s emergency room. 

In addition, a third victim needed medical treatment but was expected to be OK. 

Both identities are also being withheld pending notification of kin. 

The crash remains under investigation.
