Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Whittier Boulevard
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fatal collision that occurred in Pico Rivera Saturday morning.
The accident took place around 1:15 a.m. on Whittier Boulevard on May 14th.
Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons near the 605 Freeway, leaving 62-year-old Angelica Lopez, of Whittier, dead.
There was also a 14-year-old boy in the other car that died as a result. He has been identified as Nathan Lizarraga, also from Whittier.
Additionally, two other individuals were taken to a trauma center for treatment.
Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
