Amy Thomas Arrested For DUI Crash In Napa

Amy Thomas was detained following a DUI car accident on Imola Avenue near Cabot Way in Napa. The California Highway Patrol Group determined that the 45-year-old Napa woman was under the influence of drugs or alcohol when the crash took place.

The incident began when Amy Carol Thomas was driving an SUV westbound on West Imola Avenue in Napa. At the same time, a van was traveling eastbound.

Authorities said Amy Thomas then went across the median and struck the van. The two collided west of Cabot Way at about 3:59 p.m.

The van ultimately spun out of control and ended up facing the wrong way. When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they found the driver of the van had sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.

The paramedics took the patient to the Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded victim or their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police arrested Amy Thomas on suspicion of DUI causing injury.
