Fatal Pedestrian Crash Reported on Highway 101 

30-year-old Amanda Figueroa was killed in a pedestrian accident on Thursday evening in Nipomo. 

It was just before 7 p.m. when the accident took place on Highway 101. 

Taylor Michio was driving on the highway before he hit Figueroa.

The Santa Maria resident sadly died at the scene. 

Investigators are working to piece together all of the details of the crash.
