Man, 47, Killed In Motorcycle Crash

Allen Glenn Sison Joson was killed after a motorcycle crash that took place on Highway 37, near Sonoma.

According to authorities, Joson was riding a motorcycle traveling east on Highway 37 at around 7 p.m. He slowed down as he got closer to a traffic backup in the area. Meanwhile, a Chevrolet Express van struck the motorcyclist from behind. The California Highway Patrol said the motorcycle went off the road and down an embankment nearby.

For unknown reasons, the van continued and slammed into the rear of a Hyundai Sonata. The Hyundai then struck the back of a Dodge Ram pickup truck due to the impact from the van. The van and the Sonata also went down the embankment.

When CHP arrived at the scene, they found Joson lying in a brush as a result. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman, 66, driving the Hyundai sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
