Two Men Killed in San Diego Collision in Midway District 

Two male passengers were killed in a San Diego collision on Saturday, May 7th. 

The deceased have been identified as Ahmed Mazin Salah Alrawi, 23, and Suad Alsamari, 81. 

According to reports, the accident took place around 9 p.m. at Rosecrans Street and Sports Arena Boulevard. 

Due to speeding, a Toyota Tacoma lost control, struck a median which caused it to be airborne and hit a Toyota Sienna.

The Sienna was stopped at a red light at the time of the crash.

Sadly, both Alrawi and Alsamari were in the Sienna and died at the scene. 

There were also two other occupants in the Sienna that were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. 

Additionally, the Tacoma driver suffered broken bones among other injuries.
