Fallen Tree Causes Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 101

A head-on crash in Adelanto happened Wednesday at El Mirage Road and Mountain View Road.

The two-vehicle collision occurred about 7:42 a.m. on Dec. 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Jeep and a gray Nissan sedan are involved in the wreck. The vehicles blocked the roadway and required tow trucks to remove them.

Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help those injured in the Adelanto crash. One person with minor injuries went by ambulance to Victor Valley Global Medical Center, but there are no further details in the CHP 911 dispatch.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the collision.
