Aaron Arzola Killed In Fresno Crash
Aaron Beltran Arzola, 20, of Madera, died and his 18-year-old male passenger was injured Sunday in a solo-vehicle crash on Manning Avenue in Fresno.
The collision occurred about 9:40 a.m. on December 4th, just west of Kings River Road, according to the Fresno CHP dispatch.
Fresno CHP and paramedics responded to the scene and located Aaron Arzola and his 18-year-old male passenger in a Nissan 350.
Sadly, Aaron Arzola suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. Paramedics transported the passenger to a local hospital with moderate injuries, the report said.
Investigators working on the case determined the Nissan was driving at a high rate of speed on Manning Avenue. The driver came upon a slight curve in the roadway, but was unable to maintain control, police said. The vehicle went off the roadway and down an embankment where it went through a fence, overturned and crashed into a utility pole.
Authorities say the weather was cloudy and the roadway was wet at the time of the crash, but it was not raining, according to Mike Salas, PIO, Fresno Area CHP. Police do not know if alcohol or drugs were a factor.
