Fatal Accident at Miles and Heritage Palms Injures 4, Kills 1

Investigators are actively working to determine the cause of a two-vehicle collision in Indio on Friday afternoon.  

The accident occurred on January 14th around 4:45 p.m. at Miles Avenue and Heritage Palms Drive. 

Gregory Masters, 90, was reportedly driving a vehicle when he collided with another car for unknown reasons. 

Two people became pinned inside vehicles due to the impact and had to be extricated. 

A total of five people were injured, including Masters, who sadly died at John F. Kennedy Memorial Medical Center. 

In addition, two victims suffered major injuries and two others suffered moderate injuries. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
